Born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, I moved with my parents and siblings to suburban Detroit, Michigan when I was ten. I completed high school at Lincoln Park High School, then earned a B.A. in Communications from Wayne State University in Detroit. Following this I earned a M. Div. degree from Grand Rapids Baptist Seminary.

I served as an assistant pastor in Flint, Michigan, then as pastor of a small church in Oglesby, Illinois for twenty-one years. From Oglesby, we moved to Columbus, Ohio where I taught English and Bible classes at a Christian school. I retired in 2004.

Now I operate a Christian website - tmpministries - and I publish books. I have two books in print and plan to publish a third later this year (2009). My life-long passion is writing.

My wife, Linda, and I have been married more than forty years. We have three married daughters who have given us eight grandchildren. We still live in Columbus and are active in a local church there.
